Uganda will shockingly miss this year’s FIBA U23 Nations League, The-SportsNation.com sources have learnt.
Uganda was to send a team of boys and girls in the third edition of the tourney that tip-off on September 13-15 in Budapest.
According to the Basketball Federation (FUBA), the team was scheduled to set off on Thursday.

However, reliable sources have confirmed that the Federation has failed to secure visas for the players in time.
The development has left the players hard done as they miss an opportunity to showcase their ability at a world stage.
The two teams, four boys and as many girls, have been training at Indoor Arena in Lugogo since last week.
It should be remembered that Uganda had qualified via a wild card from FIBA.
