Ugly Incidents As Wakiso Giants Player Punches Fan

There were ugly scenes at Betway Muteesa II stadium as Wakiso Giants player punched a fan!

This happened minutes after Wakiso’s one all draw with Bright Stars on StarTimes UPL matchday four on Wednesday.

New club signing Krizeton Ntambi who had a cameo appearance in the game, his debut for the Purple Sharks, punched a heckling fan.

As he was dressing up around the team Bus, Ntambi was loudly insulted by rowdy fan who warned him never to return to the national team.

“Ntambi tojakudamu kuzannya ku uganda cranes” shouted a fan, loosely translated as ‘Ntambi you will never return to the Uganda cranes fold’.

The player, lost his cool, immediately approached the fan and landed a punches on his face.

Ntambi was whisked away by Wakiso Giants players including Ayub Kisalita and club official photographer Don Phil Mugabi in a scuffle that lasted some good minutes.

The angry fans continued shouting insulting words to the midfielder.

It should be remembered that Ntambi was at the receiving end of negative critics following a poor display as Uganda Cranes lost 3-0 away to Tanzania last year in AFCON qualifiers.
