*Bright Stars 1-1 Wakiso Giants
(Betway Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku)

Bright Stars fought back to hold visitors Wakiso Giants on matchday four of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at Wankulukuku.

Ronald Nkoge’s strike at the hour mark rescued a point for the hosts after the Purple Sharks had taken an early lead through Tom Masiko in the 4th minute.

Masiko scored from the spot, his second league goal for Wakiso, after Hassan Ssenyonjo was brought down in the box by Suleiman Ssebunza.

Nkonge struck past Derrick Emukule with his first touch after Joseph Janjali’s shot had ricochetted from the crossbar.

Seven minutes into the second stanza, Bright Stars’ Methodius Jungu had an effort wide off the mark.
