Speaking after the draw at Estadio 11 de Novembro, Anaku who led the attack with Mike Mutyaba, noted:

“We have that advantage ahead of them because of this draw and its a vital point for us. We knew they were a good side so we had to put up our best to get this result.

“We have to improve on our pressing upfront because we were more defensive than attacking upfront.”

KCCA FC had a goal disallowed when Allan Okello scored in the 48th minute but Ethiopian referee Tadesse Belay claimed that the youngster was offside.

Mustafa Kizza and Anaku also had clear cut chances but their efforts were wide off the mark.
