KCCA FC midfielder Nicholas Kasozi has refuted claims of a bitter relationship with his club and coach Mike Mutebi.
Reports have suggested that the industrious midfielder has been on a sit down strike demanding his sign-on fee which is about Sh15M.
Kasozi was left out of KCCA travelling team to face Petro Atletico in CAF Champions League, a development that fueled the reports.
“I have been injured, and that is why I was left out of the team to Angola. I have just recovered recently and that is why am training with Uganda Cranes,” Kasozi told the-SportsNation.com in an exclusive interview.
“About the sign-on fee, I received that money about a month ago, and I can now confirm that all is well.”
Kasozi joined KCCA FC last year in August from SC Villa and signed a three year contract. He also played for Synergy FC before joining the record 16 time champions.
Since his arrival at Lugogo, he has struggled to break into KCCA FC team due to stiff competition with Gift Ali proving to be the coach’s favourite.
