CHAN: Two Added On Uganda Cranes Squad For Burundi Duel

Uganda Cranes coach Abdallah Mubiru has beefed up the CHAN bound team with two players ahead of the qualifier with Burundi.

URA FC goalkeeper James Alitho has replaced Saidi Keni of SC Villa from the 32-man team that was initially summoned.

Proline’s striker Edirisa Lubega Torres has paved way for Busoga United FC’s Joel Madondo with the former reported to be injured.

The team continued their training on Monday morning at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo and will be joined by KCCA FC summoned players in the evening session.

Uganda is expected to play the CECAFA U20 bound Uganda Hippos team in a practice match at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru.

Coach Mubiru is expected to trim his squad to 18 players on Wednesday before departure on Thursday ahead of the encounter on Saturday in Bujumbura.
