Boxing: Kiwanuka To Face Zimbabwean

Ugandan heavyweight Boxer Shafiq Kiwanuka is set to face Zimbabwea fighter Thamsang Dube.

The two, will face off on November 29th, 2019 at the International University of East Africa (IUEA) Auditorium in Kansanga.

This will be Kiwanuka’s third fight since he turned professional. He knocked out Kenya’s David Kamara and Congo’s Tyson Mbikayi.

The fight was launched on Tuesday at the Kansaga based University, which also sponsors Kiwanuka with the presence of Uganda Professional Boxing Commission President Salim Uhuru and IUEA director Hassan Alwi among other officials.

Kiwanuka also assured his fans victory on what is expected to be a glamorous fight

“I am in good shape,” started Kiwanuka. “I am going to intensify my preparations ahead of this big fight. I want to beat anyone who comes in my way. My swords are very sharp and ready to cut!”
