CHAN: Final 18 For Burundi Assignment Revealed

18 Uganda Cranes players to face Burundi in the 2020 CHAN qualifiers have been revealed.

The team is set to travel on Thursday morning ahead of Saturday’s first leg encounter in Bujumbura.

Vipers’ Allan Kayiwa headlines the dropped list. Goalkeeper Yasin Mugabi, Arafat Galiwango, Paul Mucureezi and Joel Madondo are some of the other players that fail to make the cut.

Police’s Yusuf Ssozi and URA’s Paul Mbowa are part of the travelling contingent.

18 Players to travel

Goalkeepers: Lukwago Charles (KCCA), Alitho James (URA)

Defenders: Willa Paul (Vipers SC), Mustafa Mujuzi (Proline FC), Kizza Mustafa (KCCA FC), Revita John (KCCA FC), Lwaliwa Halid (Vipers SC), Mbowa Paul (URA FC).

Midfielders: Kasozi Nicolas (KCCA FC), Mutyaba Muzamir (KCCA FC), Vianney Sekajugo (Wakiso Giants FC), Sulaiman Mutyaba (KCCA FC), Kagimu Shafiq (URA FC), Yusuf Ssozi (Police FC), Okello Allan (KCCA FC), Bright Anukani (Proline FC).
