We Are Going To Rectify Our Previous Mistakes – Oyella

Uganda She Cranes versatile player Stella Oyella has said that they are going to resolve their mistakes done in previous tourneys as they look to defend African Netball Challenge to be hosted in South Africa next month.

Stella who can play as Goal Attacker (GA), Wing Attacker (WA) and Center Player, is among the 22 players summoned in preparation for championship.

The team started training on Monday morning at Hockey group in Lugogo.

Stella was impressive in the concluded Netball World Cup in liverpool, scooping two player of the match awards.

“The coaches are going to try hard to see that we put right what we did wrong last time to see that we defeat all teams that will be there,” Oyella noted.

“This time round we are going to resolve our mistakes. Last time the training was on and off, due to money issues but we hope for better preparations this time round. We welcome the new coach and the new players as well and we want to work hand in hand.”

She cranes are defending champion after beating Zimbabwe 66-51 in Lusaka, Zambia last year but will face tough resistance from Malawi and hosts South Africa.
