Uganda Cranes: 22 Summoned For Regional Tour

Uganda Cranes acting head coach Abdallah Mubiru has summoned 22 players who will travel to the West Nile region for a Cranes Namutima regional tour.

The team will face a West Nile select team at the Adjumani stadium on Saturday, 28th September 2019.

The team is composed of players who featured in the Uganda Cranes CHAN team that thrashed Burundi 3-0 in in Bujumbura.

KCCA FC and Proline FC miss out as they have continetal assignments with their clubs. John Revita (KCCA) has been included because he is ineligible to play for in the CAF Champions league at this stage.

This will be a preparatory game for Uganda’s CHAN qualifiers return leg against Burundi set in October at Lugogo.

According to a statement on FUFA website, the team will depart Kampala from FUFA House on Friday, 27th November 2019 at 7 AM for Gulu.

They will check in at Boma Hotel and conduct a training session at Pece War Memorial Stadium in the evening. On the morning of Saturday, 28th September 2019, the team will depart for Adjumani where the match will take place later in the day at 4:00 PM.
