Proline Vs Express: Can Red Eagles Stop Ivan Bogere?

Tuesday, October 1
*Proline FC Vs Express FC – 4PM
(StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo)

Express FC will take a short trip to StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo to face hosts Proline FC on matchday six of the StarTimes UPL.

The hosts will bank on hot striker Ivan Bogere who scored two goals on Saturday as they dispatched AS Kigali in CAF Confederation.

The striker who was topscorer as Proline FC earned Promotion from Big League with 14 goals, also grabbed an hat-trick against Masters Security FC.

Bogere has only featured once for Proline in the league this season; coming off the bench against Mbarara City in Luzira. The player had internal issues with the club management.

He is expected to give George Ssemwogerere’s centre backs – Cyrus Kibande and Martin Kizza – a big run for their money.

Proline FC, coached by Matia Lule who will be facing former side, were docked six points for dishonouring their league game against SC Villa. They have negative three (-3) points in total so far.

Can Express FC Deliver On the Road?

Four points from the opening five games is not a start any Express FC can fancy, but this will look more ugly if they fail at newly promoted Proline FC.

The visitors will bank on little forward Frank Ssenyondo’s trickery to get maximum points.

Express FC picked maximum points against Mbarara City FC

Express FC have looked more comfortable playing away from home, but will have to double their efforts against a team that is known for possessing the ball.

Denis Sserukwaya, Daniel Shabena and Hamdan Nsubuga will have to be at their best or else will chase shadows in the middle of the park against the likes of Proline’s Anukani Bright, Noordin Bunjo and Ibrahim Wamanah.
