UPL: Two Grounds To Be Re-inspected

Mbarara’s Kakyeka and BUL’s Bugembe Stadium are the two grounds that are set to be re-inspected by the UPL Licinsing committee to determine whether they are suitable to host league games, the-SportsNation.com sources have learnt.

Mbarara and BUL have been hosting games at Luzira and Njeru respectively after their initial home grounds failed to meet the requirements.

However, the clubs are expected to return home after recent development done on the grounds.

Onduparaka (Greenlight Stadium), Tooro United (St Paul Seminary) and Busoga United (Mighty Arena) were recently given green light to return home.

According to UPL licensing committee, for any Stadium to host Uganda Premier League game, must at least meet the minimum requirement set by committee which include;

A well furnished dressing rooms, Pure soft green and flat surface of the pitch, good sanitary facilities, Strong Perimeter fence and Stands fencing (separating home fans from visiting fans.
