URA FC has lost the battle but the war still continues, Coach Sam Ssimbwa said recently.

The tax collectors take a long trip across the Nile to face hosts and leaders Onduparaka FC in the league at Greenlight Stadium, Arua.

Ssimbwa has remained positive despite a false start that has seen the club go five games without a win, a streak they seek to end in Arua in what appears to be a mission impossible.

Onduparaka have four clean sheet in a row and are top of the log with 15 points from six games and are always a different specie while playing at their intimidating home ground.

“Time is still available to reorganise ourselves and we keep our target valid because even last season we registered a lot of draws but we managed to finish 3rd,” Ssimbwa said.

“We have only lost battles but the war still continue. Even the defending champion KCCA is not doing well currently but you can’t rule him out on the title so we can possibly still win the next games.

“In the last two games, we out played our opponents but we failed to take our chances and that is worrying.”

URA who are 11th on the log will rely on their start studded pack of James Alitho, Patrick Mbowa, Ashiraf Mandela, Saidi Kyeyune, Brian Majwega, Kagimu Shafik among others in search for thier second win of the season.

Livingston Mbabazi on the other hand is likely to stick to the same lineup that fetched a 1-0 win at Luzira against Moroons in their last game.

Goalscorer and captain Gaddafi Wahab, birthday boy Caesor Okhuti, Vitalis Tabu who came back on the team after the injury, Ibrahim Faizul and Rajab Kakooza will be key for the Carterpillars.

However, history is against Onduparaka. URA has not lost against Onduparaka while playing in Arua, with the last three games ending in draws.

Last season, the encounter ended in a goalless draw while URA won their home game 3-1 with Shafick Kagimu, Mathew Odong and Abel Eturude (O.G) on target. Vianney Ssekajugo (now at Wakiso Giants) scored for Onduparaka.
