Proline FC will be seeking to put points on board when they host Busoga United at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

Proline FC have won two games but saw their points docked after they failed to honour their league game against SC Villa.

The Matia Lule coached side are languishing at the bottom of the table and a will fancy a victory against Busoga United at home.

Proline who beat Onduparaka and Express at Lugogo, lost their last game to Vipers in a game they put up a good show.

It’s however not known whether Mahad Yaya Kakooza and Edirisa Lubega Torres who missed licences against Vipers have been cleared to play.

Bright Anukani has not started their last two games while Ivan Bogere last appeared in their opening loss to Mbarara in the league but Noordin Bunjo, Alfred Leku, Hakim Kiwanuka, Ibrahim Wamanah among others will be a big threat against Busoga.

Busoga United have blown and hot cold this season – They are ninth on the log with seven points – They beat Bright Stars and BUL and held SC Villa in their last game.

They lost against Tooro, KCCA, Onduparaka and Mbarara City.

Abbey Bogere will seek to end a winless run of three games.

“We are going to play one of the team which play tik tak football but we have good history over them,” said coach Bogere.

“Against Villa, we got a lot of chances which we failed to convert, but have tried to rectify on those mistakes, and I hope we are going to put up a good performance against Proline on artificial turf which we are familiar with, and I hope the boys are going to give it all.”

Omedwa Rogers is expected to retain his position in the posts for the visitors while the trio of Mugulusi Ibrahim, Madondo Joel and Wani Ivan will be key going forward.

Fred Amaku scored the lone goal as Busoga United, Kirinya Jinja SS then, beat Proline FC at Lugogo the last time the sides met in February 2018.
