After beating Proline FC, Busoga United coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko will use similar tactics when his side host Police FC at the Mighty Arena in Jinja on match-day nine.

Bogere has explained that Police FC play the same style of footballer like their previous opponents Proline FC which they beat 1-0 thanks to Isma Kawawulo’s lone strike.

“We managed to beat Proline who play a possessive game and we face Police who play the same style. We want to use the same approach to see that we get maximum points,” Bogere said.

“Now we are at home, I expect a good game and the players are motivated to give us a good display.”

Besides Nelson Mandela, Bogere revealed that he has a full fit squad ahead of Police game.

Busoga United are sixth, won three, one draw and four losses from eight games, with 10 points.

Police FC who were docked three points for failing to honour their opening fixture against Onduparaka at Luzira, are second from the bottom with two points.

Abdallah Mubiru’s side has suffered two humiliating losses – against Express and Vipers – notably conceding goals in a poor fashion, with his own players (goalkeepers) at fault for recklessness.

It still remains to be known whether they will keep at bay an attacking side that has Dan Ssewava, Joel Madondo and Ivan Wani.

Madondo scored the only goal as Busoga (Kirinya Jinja then) won 1-0 last season (this year in February) in Jinja.
