FUFA Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson has been summoned at Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID) headquarters, unconfirmed reports have suggested.
This, is understood to be in relation with the Moses Magogo and World Cup tickets scandal.
Magogo was recently banned for two months and told to pay Sh37M by FIFA after he was found guilty of reselling 2014 FIFA World Cup tickets meant for Ugandans to non Ugandans, in breach of the FIFA Code of Ethics and the FIFA Ticket Sales Regulation.
If this comes to pass, Edgar Watson will be the latest to be summoned by the CID after Makindye West MP Allan Ssewanyana who is the whistleblower of the case.
Watson, a former SC Villa Captain is expected to appear on Wednesday, and it is also reported that Peninah Kabenge has been summoned as well.
Reports have it that Kabenge was the agent that channeled the tickets to Howard Scwartz based in Florida, USA of World Sports and Hospitality.
FUFA is yet to confirm the development.
