SC VILLA Confirms New Club Public Relations Officer

Sports club Vlla have confirmed Bernard Olupot as a new club public relations officer, it’s official.

Olupot is born to Pastor George Ewalu Olupot and Doris Olupot.

Journalist Sharon Adong has been working as the club PRO for the past two seasons, however, it remains to be known whether Adong had a running contract with the Jogoos.

“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bernard Ewalu Olupot as the club’s new public relations officer with immediate effect,” Villa confirmed via a tweet.

With a wealth experience over a decade, Ewalu is a digital Communications and a public relations practitioner.

SC Villa banks on Ewalu’s experience to portray a good image of the club in the public.

What’s the role of a club PRO?

Club PRO is to communicate with the general public on behalf of the Club, presenting a positive image of the Club in the local community and beyond. Therefore, the PRO holds one of the most important officer positions in the Club.

Moses Magero (KCCA), Abdul Wasike (Vipers), Shaban Lubega (Tooro United), Paul Kulumba (Busoga United), Joseph Mutaka (BUL FC) among others, are some of the club PROs in the UPL.
