FUFA Big League match-day two fixture between Ndejje University Lions FC and Water FC at Arena of Visions did not take place.

The match officials called off the game after the visiting team failed to produce players’ licences.

Efforts to reach the concerned, including Water FC’s top officials, to comment about the matter did not materialise.

It should however be remembered that Water FC played on match-day one, losing 1-2 to Kigezi Home Boyz at Luzira.

Whether the fixture will be rescheduled or Ndejje, who beat Nyamityobora 2-1 on match-day one, takes the points, remains to be known.

Ndejje visit UPDF on Thursday while Water visit Kansai Plascon on Sunday.

The player license scuffle has continued to take a big toll on Ugandan clubs, an issue that has affected teams in top flight division as well.

Elsewhere:

The veteran scored from the spot after Joseph Akandwanaho was brought down in the forbidden area for the Abanyakare to claim maximum points.
