Fufa Juniors League: All Set For 2019/20 season

After four successful seasons of the youth development program, the 2019/20 FUFA Juniors League season will officially kick off on Saturday, October 26.

The opening fixture of Express junior team hosting KCCA SA was called off to enable KCCA’s senior team prepare for the CAF Confederation cup game on Sunday.

This year’s season will almost be comprising of new faces after FUFA embarked to the the U-17 with almost the previous players in the past four seasons making 20 years.

Kyetume, Wakiso Giants will be the new teams to grace the league for the first time as their senior teams are newbies in the topflight.

As it has been the case in the last four seasons, the league has been divided into two groups – Treble and Hat-trick groups.

Games in both groups will be played in three rounds; Home and away with the third round hosted by the team that hold a better aggregate according to the performance of the first two legs.

The third round shall be determined by the following rules
*Head to Head criteria
*Disciplinary record in both the first and second rounds
*Position of the first division club per the time fixtures are released.

BUL Junior team are the defending champions after beating KCCA SA 3-0 in the finals.
