BUL Vs Bright Stars: Hosts Seek Return To Summit

BUL FC will be seeking for a return to the summit when they play host to winless Bright Stars FC on match-day ten of Uganda Premier League at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.

BUL were leapfrogged by Vipers from the top of the log after a 2-1 defeat at Kitende in a rescheduled fixture played last Tuesday.

The side had won four out of their five games prior to the Kitende game.

The Jinja-based side is now second on the log with 19 points from nine games just three points below table leaders Vipers SC.

After 1-0 win against Banha Chiefdom Football team in a practice match played last Wednesday, Peter Onen side will come confident.

The side is expected to once again rely on the attack of Deogracious Ojok and Robert Mukongotya to take down the embattled Bright Stars.

Bright Stars is the only team yet to win a single game in the ongoing Uganda premier league having drawn five games and lost four.

They are seated in the relegation zone, 14th on the log, with five points from nine games just above Police and Proline who who had their points docked off.

Kiseka Muhammad who is still struggling to pick his starting 11 up to now, will need his enterprising left back Ronald Nkoonge who has been the best on the team currently to be on form.

After Joseph Janjali starting off the bench in their last game, more prayers will be needed for team’s master planner Junju Methodius to deliver after having a slumpy performance in the recent games.

Bright Stars will need to double their efforts if they are to bury a poor a run.
