UPL: Bright Stars Hold BUL

Bright Stars denied BUL maximum points as both sides settled for a point on match-day 10 of the StarTimes UPL at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru.

Joseph Janjali’s goal canceled out James Otim’s opener, with both goals coming in the second stanza.

The hosts had a chance to go in the lead but Walter Ochora missed a header from Allan Munaba’s free-kick in the 21st minute.

Peter Onen’s charges have now dropped five points in their last two games, they had lost to Vipers 2-1 at Kitende.

BUL are now second on the log with 20 points, four below leaders Vipers. BUL will return to action against Kyetume FC.

Bright Stars, yet to win a game, have now drawn six games and lost the other four. They will host Onduparaka before visiting Mbarara city FC.
