Wakiso Giants coach Kefa Kisala stressed that his team failed to manage the game well in a 2-1 loss against Police FC.
Wakiso, who took an halftime lead through Viane Ssekajugo, failed to protect their advantage as goals from Hood Kaweesa and Pius Kaggwa completed Police’s comeback.
“We didn’t manage the game well especially in situations we had chances to kill off the game, a 1-0 situation is very dangerous,” Kisala told the-SportsNation.com.
“We had many chances and failed to convert them. A winning team is that one which converts their chances and Police did this better than us.
“We play on natural grass but when you reach at the artificial turf all things change even the ball movement meaning its hard to change immediately and this also influenced in the loss because you need extra efforts on the turf.”
Wakiso Giants seat eighth on the UPL table with13 points from 10 games.
The purple sharks welcome Express FC this Saturday, set at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
