Katwe United new head coach Allan Kabonge was given a rude welcome when his side lost 2-1 away to Bukedea to suffer their successive defeat in the FUFA Big League.

Christened as the ‘Promotion King’, this was not the start the former Paidha Black Angels coach dreamt of.

Kabonge replaced Hassan Mubiru who was sacked after the team lost to Dove Alla Stars.

Simon Misaki Opio and Innocent Maduka were on target for Bukedea who played their second home game at a neutral ground – CRO playground (San Siro) Mbale.

Katumba Alex’s goal for Katwe proved not enough as the newly promoted side succumbed to their second loss of the season. Katwe remain on four points from as many games while Bukedea who won their first game move to five points from four games.

Bukedea hosted Kiboga Young (now called Mbale Heroes) at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru after Emokori playground failed to pass licensing requirements.

Elsewhere, Sula Tumusiime’s strike in the 67th minute gave Ndejje maximum points away to Dove FC at Katusabe ground in Masindi.

Michael Ndera scored in the 25th minute was enough as Nyamityobora beat New Villa at Kakyeka.

Kiboga Young stunned Dove All Stars, Kansai Plascon shared spoils with Kitara while Light SS and Kataka fired blanks.
