*Bright Stars Vs Onduparaka FC – 4PM
Bright Stars will play host to visiting Onduparaka at a neutral ground – FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, The-SportsNation.com sources have discovered.
This follows a recent FUFA order that banned Bright Stars (and Express FC) to stop hosting games at Wankulukuku until further notice following the stadium’s poor state on the pitch.
Bright Stars who were hosting games at Champions stadium in Mwererwe for the past seasons, had to move to Wankulukuku after the Matugga stadium failed to pass FUFA Licensing requirements.
The hosts will be hoping for better fortunes on Saturday and will be targeting for maximum points and end their winless run this season after 10 games.
Coached by Mohammed Kisekka, Bright Stars sit in the red zone, 14th with six points. They have scored once in their last three games.
The visitors on the other hand sit third on the log with 19 points after beating Tooro United 3-0 in their 100th league game.
They notably suffered their first league defeat against Bright Stars at Mwererwe.
Last season, Rashid Toha scored in the 57th minute to cancel Nelson Ssenkatuka’s 17th minute opener as both sides played a one all draw at Mwererwe. The game ended goalless at Arua.
