Prison warders Maroons will seek to detain peace keepers Police FC when the two security entities meet at Luzira in the UPL.

The hosts are ninth on the log with 13 points while Police are seated 15th just a place above the rock bottom with five points from nine games.

The game brings together two coaches – Douglas Bamweyana (Maroons) and Abdallah Mubiru (Police FC) – who have always preached free flowing attacking style of play and the encounter promises to be entertaining.

Maroons will miss the services of Olinga Emmanuel and Opio Belmos who got injured in the training while Nsubuga Bronson hasn’t resumed full training.

Ashaba Racmac and Tabiita Laban will need to have their license issues first sorted.

However the team is likely to bank on Steven Mukwala,Obuya Pius and Tusubira Abraham for goals.

Police FC on the other hand, will bank on Pius Kaggwa inspired the Cops to a much needed win against Wakiso Giants as they recovered from a goal down to win 2-1.

New signing and former Express FC player Mubaraka Nsubuga is back in the team.

Police FC head coach Abdallah Mubiru anticipates a very competitive encounter and showed the need for the points.

“Both teams have young players who want to prove one another, in general its going to be a competitive game,” noted Mubiru.

“It has come when we need points the most to clear our chances of remaining in the league, and we look up to God for the results we need after doing what could have done”
