UPL: Bobosi Byaruhanga Strikes Late For Vipers

Youngster Bobosi Byaruhanga scored a late winner as Vipers strengthened their grip on top of the table with a slender 1-0 away win against Busoga United.

Bobosi came off the bench, replacing Karim Watambala in the 68th minute before firing in the added minutes after an assist by Fahad Bayo.

Bayo had an earlier chance to give Vipers the lead but he drove it over the crossbar in the 66th minute while Brian Nkuubi, Bashir Asiku and Brian Kalumba all came close.

This is the first win for Vipers at home of Busoga United after three previous failed attempts.

Vipers remain on top with 27 points, four above BUL FC in second. The Venoms will host Wakiso Giants per the fixture.

Busoga United are fifth with 16 points after suffering their fifth loss of the campaign.
