CAF Confederation: Proline Chasing History

*Proline Vs Al-Nasr

Proline FC are 90 minutes away from storming the CAF Confederation Cup group stages as they welcome Libya’s Al-Nasr Benghazi at Lugogo.

After a 2-2 draw in the first leg in Alexandria in Egypt, the Ugandan representatives will need at least a goalless draw on Sunday to achieve the historical feat on their first attempt.

The side, coached by Matia Lule, entered residential camp on Thursday at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru and will be fancying their chances after eliminating Masters Security from Malawi and Rwanda’s AS Kigali to reach this stage.

“This is a game changer for us,” said coach Lule. “And we know everyone is expecting a lot from us but we shall maintain our game plan so that we get the best result of the day. We shall build on our strength from the first leg although our focus is on this one not our previous results.”

Yusuf Mukisa returns from suspension while Hakim Kiwanuka will miss the encounter after accumulating two yellow cards.

Proline Squad – Hassan Matovu, Shatif Magola, Bernard Muwanga, Sula Ssekamwa, Mustafa Mujuzi, Yusuf Mukisa, Saka Mpiima, Ibrahim Ssendi, Richard Ajuna, James Begesa, Sam Kintu, Bright Anukani, Noordin Bunjo, Arnold Sserunjogi, Andrew Okiring, Ibrahim Wamanah, Joshua Okiring, Hamis Kizza.
