UPL: Lwesibawa On Target As Tooro Overcome Mbarara

Sunday, November 3
*Tooro United 1-0 Mbarara City FC

Interim Tooro United head coach Eric Ndifuna was on touchline as his side started new life without head coach Wasswa Bbosa on Sunday in a league game against Mbarara City FC.

Tooro United returned to winning ways with a laboured 1-0 win against struggling Mbarara City FC at St Paul Seminary grounds, Kabarole.

Godfrey Lwesiibawa second half strike was enough as the hosts recorded their fourth win of the season.

It remains to be known whether Ndifuna be made the permanent head coach after the departure of Wasswa Bossa who resigned from his position recently.

Tooro has now moved to 11th position on the log with 13 points tied up with KCCA, Kyetume, Express and Wakiso while Mbarara remained 13th with nine points.

Tooro will visit SC Villa as Mbarara play hosts to Bright Stars at Kakyeka.
