*SC Villa 4-1 Tooro United
*Mbarara City 0-0 Bright Stars

SC Villa outclassed ailing Tooro United in a league game played at Bombo barracks on Wednesday.

The Jogoos put four past Tooro in a 4-1 victory to extend the club’s misery who lost coach Wasswa Bbosa recently.

Despite playing at a neutral ground, all the fears evaporated through the skies of Bombo when Ambrose Kirya put the hosts in an early lead inside three minutes.

Kirya doubled the lead with a header in the 21st minute to give Villa a 2-0 lead at the break.

Faizo Muwawu made it 3-0 just before hour mark and Yafeesi Mubiru pulled one back for Tooro before Nicholas Kabonge erased all Tooro hopes of a comeback.

The Jogoos, who have not lost a game since a 1-0 loss to Kyetume on the opening day, have now won five and drawn as many since.

Edward Kaziba’s side sit third with 20 points, but 10 away from leaders Vipers.

Tooro United, now under assistant coach Eric Ndifuna, have lost seven league games and occupy 12th with 13 points.

Villa will meet Bright Stars (A) before hosting BUL FC while Tooro will host Proline before facing Police FC.
