UPL: Malish, Malingumu Bag Hat-tricks As Onduparaka Thrash Kyetume

Jamal Malish and Julius Malingumu scored an hat-trick each as Onduparaka obliterated Kyetume FC in a league game in Arua.

Malish’s hat-trick is the first for Onduparaka at Greenlight since the Carterpillars joined top flight.

Vitalis Tabu made an hat-trick of assists and also scored the goal for the hosts, while Dan Iseja was on target for Kyetume in a 7-1 mauling.

The victory sends Onduparaka to third place with 23 points while Kyetume who suffered their sixth loss of the season are eighth with 16 points.

Caesar Okhuti and Malingumu both missed keeper to beat chances while Abdul Lukwata’s shot was parried away as Onduparaka.

Malingumu opened the scores in the 20th minute from a long range strike before Okhuti and Wahab Gadafi paved way for Joel Jangeyambe and Malish in the 25th minute.

Kyetume looked the second best all day but Deo Isejja’s 43rd minute goal before the break gave the side some hope.

Malish showed composure at restart to score as Onduparaka regained control in the 52nd account before getting his brace four minutes later off Tabu’s delivery.

Malingumu later made it 4-1 at the hour mark off another Tabu assist before Malish completed his hat-trick with yet another Tabu assist in the 68th minute.

Tabu made it 6-1 with a beautiful freekick after Malish was brought down and Malingumu made put the icing on the cake to cement a 7-1 victory in Arua.
