Derrick Ndahiro scored in the first half as Villa managed to overcome Bright Stars at Bombo barracks in the StarTimes UPL.
Ndahiro’s goal came in the 20th minute when he collected from David Owori to pounce home.
The Edward Kaziba coached team that have now played twelve league games have 23 points and have not lost any since the league opener against Kyetume at Namboole
The loss leaves Bright Stars with 10 points, still in the red zone.
Villa will host BUL FC while Bright Stars visit Proline FC in an early relegation battle.
