UPL: Proline Hold Tooro To Halt Losing Streak

Proline FC held Tooro United to a goal draw in a league game played at St. Paul national seminary in Fort Portal.

Yafeesi Mubiru gave the hosts a lead at the half hour mark when he was freed by Godfrey Lwesibawa before slotting home past Hassan Matovu.

Tooro United were on course for their fifth win of the season before James Begisa equalised midway through the second stanza as both sides later settled for a point each.

The draw ends Proline’s losing streak in the league – They had lost five straight games since beating Express.

Proline, who were docked six points for dishonoring Villa fixture, put their first point on board but remain rooted on the 16-team log after playing nine games while Tooro United are 12th with 14 points.

Tooro will visit Police before hosting Express while Proline will host Bright Stars at Lugogo.
