Kyetume Vs Wakiso: Visitors Bank On Recent Momentum

Wakiso Giants will be targeting to extend their recent momentum when they visit Kyetume at a neutral ground in Bombo.

The encounter brings together two sides that clashed in the Big League last season.

This will be the fourth meeting between the two sides, as the other ties have all ended in draws.

The Purple Sharks come into the game seated in eighth with 16 points, level with ninth placed Kyetume who have an inferior goal difference.

Wakiso beat Busoga United 2-1 to pick their first win under caretaker boss Steven Bengo to end a three game losing streak.

The Slaughters on the other hand, lost 7-1 against Onduparaka in Arua with Dan Iseja scoring a consolation.

The Mukono-based team will seek to bounce back and are expected to fancy their chances against the Purple Sharks.

Robert Ssentongo and Sharif Ssaka are expected to play a huge part for the hosts while its not known whether Joel Mutakubwa will start in the posts.

The visitors will bank on Viane Ssekajugo going forward and Karim Ndugwa who scored a winner is expected to start ahead of Geoffrey Sserunkuma. The attackers are expected to find rough against Kyetume’s defence of Benon Tahomera and Jonathan Mugabi.
