*Uganda Vs Malawi – 4PM
Forward Patrick Kaddu has promised to deliver when Uganda Cranes play host to Malawi in a group B AFCON qualifiers this Sunday at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
The Cranes return to Namboole since November 17, 2018 when Kaddu scored against Cape Verde to book a ticket to AFCON.
The striker, whose trade mark celebration is a ‘monkey-dance’, also scored the team’s first goal in 2019 AFCON in a 2-0 win against DR Congo.
“I manged to score goals because of the team effort,” Kaddu reflected. “I am not holding back, I want and hope to score more. I want to continue scoring against Malawi and all fans should come in huge numbers to support their team at Namboole.”
Kaddu who joined Renaissance Sportive de Berkane in Morocco from KCCA, commented that they are in good mode and confident to take down Malawi.
“We got a positive result in our first game away to Burkina Faso which was not an easy game. Malawi will not be as well but we have managed to rectify our mistakes.”
“In Africa, all teams are very strong, they become weak after you have beaten them. We are at home and we hope to make this advantage count.”
Kaddu featured for Uganda against Burkina on Wednesday before he was taken off for Isaac Muleme in the second half.
