Paul Kiwanuka: Bright Stars Reappoint Coach

Former assistant coach at Bright stars Paul Kiwanuka has been appointed new head coach at the club replacing Muhammad Kisseka who has been at the helm of the Matugga based team since the start of the season.

He will be tasked to get Bright Stars back to winning ways as soon as possible as Bright stars welcome Police FC today at the Bombo Barracks play ground.

Kiwanuka, who recently deputized former head coach Fred Kajoba left the club with his head at the end of the previous season after guiding Bright stars to the Stanbic Uganda cup finals.

The CAF B coach finds Bright stars in the relegation zone with just 10 points from 14 games.

Assistant coach Simon Peter Mugerwa will remain in his position well as former head coach Muhammad Kisekka has been deployed as the head of scouting and youth development at the club.

Muhammad Kisekka has only managed to collect 10 points for Bright stars in the 14 games he has been at the club winning once, drawing seven and losing six.
