*URA FC 0-0 Busoga United
URA FC coach Sam Ssimbwa revealed his discontent about poor officiating in his side’s draw with Busoga United.
URA, hosting at a neutral ground, were held to a goalless draw by visiting Busoga at Bombo Barracks on match-day 15 of the StarTimes UPL.
“We should have won this game, we got a genuine goal which was disallowed, there was a penalty claim which would have even resulted into a send off but the referee refused,” claimed Ssimbwa.
The game was officiated by Hakim Oriada (centre referee), Joseph Ochom and Matia Omuniyira.
“They came knowing that Revenue (URA FC) should draw or lose the game. I am sorry but I have to say this.
“What can we do if our goals are cancelled. Kagimu was clearly kicked by the goalkeeper.”
Ssimbwa also commented that he missed Joachim Ojera and Patrick Mbowa who were without licenses.
“We missed some players but that is beyond my control, its administrative. My worry is the referee who I think have a deliberate effort to frustrate URA. They have done it several times. We scored a genuine goal against Vipers.”
URA have collected 15 points after the draw and occupy 11th after 12 games. They will play Proline FC next.
Busoga United are seventh with 18 points and have completed their first round games – 15.
