Reports: Jackson Mayanja Signs Two-Year Contract With Wakiso Giants

Uganda Premier League newcomers Wakiso Giants have acquired the services of coach Jackson Mayanja, according to unconfirmed reports.

Mayanja reportedly joins the Purple Sharks after recently parting ways with Tanzania’s Kinondoni Municipal Council FC where he joined at the beginning of the season after helping Kyetume to top flight promotion.

If this comes to pass, he beats Wasswa Bbosa, former Tooro United coach, and Livingston Mbabazi to the hot seat job.

Wakiso Giants, bankrolled by Musa Atagenda Ssebulime, sacked Kefa Kisala after a string of poor results before handing former player Steven Bengo the job as a care taker.

The gaffer who was also linked to Kyetume,is reported to have signed a two-year contract.

The club occupy sixth place on the log with 20 points after completing their first round games. They won six, drawn twice and seven losses.
