City Oilers limped past Warriors to win 49-43 in a low scoring game four and seal a final place after a 3-1 triumph in the best of five semi.
After a 62-53 loss in game one, Warriors levelled the series 1-1 when they won game two 68-56 to give themselves a chance at YMCA.
However, a 67-60 game three for Oilers left Warriors with lesser chances in what was a mission impossible from the start.
Oilers, tied on six titles with Falcons, are chasing a record seventh league title after making a seventh final. Betway Power who lost to UCU Canons in the other semi, have won five while Warriors have won two league championships.
Playing without Francis Chisioke Azolibe, Jonathan Egau and Stephen Omony had given Mandy Juruni big headache, however, the side managed to find their way through like they have always done.
Oilers led 25-19 at halftime, pegged back and trailed 35-33 going into the last quarter before coming out of the blocks in fourth (16-8) to seal a laboured win.
James Okello picked 11 points from 5-13 shooting and was the only Oilers player to score in double figures. Jimmy Enabu came off the bench with eight points and Landry Ndikumana contributed 11 rebounds and eight points.
Warriors who shot an ugly 23% from field and 12% from a distance, had Saidi Carmelo Amisi collect 11 points in a losing effort. Chris Omanye and Stanley Mugerwa were 2-17 and 3-15 from the field respectively in an abysmal display.
