*Kenya Vs Burundi

Crested Cranes head coach Faridah Bulega hopes that her defenders will be at their best in Saturday’s semifinal against hosts and defending champions Tanzania in the CECAFA women senior challenge Cup in Dar Es Salam.

Uganda’s defence was at fault, disorganized and porous as the side lost 3-0 against a high pressing Kenya, to suffer their first defeat, in the last group game.

Talking of the much anticipated encounter against Tanzania, Bulega said:

“We made three defensive errors which cost us, my defenders did not apply the principles of defending like I told them, but we are going back to the drawing board and by the time we face Tanzania on Saturday it will be all settled.”

Tanzania on the other hand, look to bank on the overlapping Donisia Minja and Mwana Hamisi Omary who have been at the heart of the team’s winning performances in the last three games.

Uganda has some injuries with Zainah Namuleme and Nabbosa Ritah required to pass a last fitness test ahead of the epic encounter.

Winner between the two will face winner between Kenya and Burundi in the final to be played on Monday.
