*Betway Power 75-89 Warriors
Warriors finished third in the 2019 National Basketball League after a 89-75 win against Betway Power on Sunday at the Indoor Arena, Lugogo.
Amisi ‘Carmelo’ Saidi led the way with a game high 26 points (and 9 rebounds) while Chris Omanye and Kutai Gatwech contributed 20 and 14 points respectively.
Mike Otieno also added 13 points for a team that only had three bench players including a limping Jonathan Kambala who was given only six minutes.

Power had a worst start, falling 9-20 after the first quarter and failed to come back into the game where they shot 36% from the field.
Brian Sivachi (18), Syrus Kiviiri (17) and David Opolot (11) all scored in double figures in a losing effort.
Power who were beaten finalists last season, will count this as another bad season after being eliminated by a youthful UCU Canons team at the semifinal stage and major overhaul is expected before next season.
Warriors also lost their semifinal series 3-1 in the hands of six time defending champions City Oilers.
In the other tie, Ines Kanyamunza bagged a game high 20 points as KIU Rangers beat KCCA Leopards 52-50 to finish third in the women division.
KCCA lost to UCU lady Canons while KIU Rangers were swept by JKL Lady Dolphins.
