Uganda Cranes: Mckinstry Names Squad For CECAFA

Uganda Cranes coach Jonathan Mckinstry has summoned a provisional squad of 30 players to prepare for the forthcoming 2019 CECAFA Senior Challenge cup.

Uganda will host the tourney in December 7-19 as the tourney makes a return in the country since 2012 when Uganda beat Kenya Harambee Stars to win 2-1 in the final.

Uganda, record winners with 14 titles, will seek to restore their regional dominance after last winning the crown in 2015. The tourney has been held once since, in 2017 when Kenya beat Zanzibar in shootouts.
