Motorsport: 40 Rally Crews To Battle For Kapeka Showdown

All is now set for the last round of the National Mosac Rally slated for November 30 to December 1 in Kapeka, Nakaseka.

There will be one winner on Sunday as 40 rally crews will battle for the decisive and seventh-round of the national rally championship.

The three day event will start this Friday with scrutineering of cars at shell lugogo by-pass and there will be ceremonial start for the cars in the evening at pearl of Africa hotel in Kampala before the cars head to Kapeka for two stages plus a super special stage at the Kapeka industrial park.

There will be nine competitive stages competed for some of which will be repeated in a total distance of over 160KM while liaison will be 218.2 KM with the rest being transport.

The stages are all set and ready with 60 percent flat-out and less rough as drivers will enjoy themselves throughout.

A reverse start order which was initiated during round five in Fort Portal is expected to be the order of the day with the Two-Wheel Drive and Clubman Rally Championship crews going first on the road.

Only 30points separate between two drivers Yasin Nasser and Arthur Blick Jr who are vying to be crowned national champion 2019.
