Uganda Cranes Coach Johnathan McKinstry has revealed his final squad to feature in the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup.

The 20-man squad, posted on FUFA website, sees Allan Kayiwa, goalkeeper James Alitho, Disan Galiwango among other players dropped.

Youngster Karim Watambala, current league’s leading goalscorer Steven Mukwala and Police’s Ben Ocen have surprisingly made the cut.

“The decision of selecting the 20 plays was difficult. We have had 26 players in the previous days. Me and my coaches discussed for more than two hours to have the final list. Not because we lack talent but because there is so much talent within the squad. The six players who missed out are just unfortunate,” the Northern Irishman commented.
