CECAFA: Steven Mukwala To Lead Uganda Cranes Attack

Steven Mukwala will lead Uganda Cranes attack as Jonathan Mckinstry names squad to face Eritrea at Lugogo in a 4PM kickoff.

Mukwala, leading goalscorer in the StarTimes UPL with 10 goals and recently named best player in November, is one of the seven changes the Irishman has made from the Uganda Cranes team that beat Somalia.

Mukwala will lead the line alongside Police’s Ben Ocen and Wakiso’s Viane Ssekajugo on left and right flanks respectively as the Uganda Cranes seek to extend a perfect start.

Steven Mukwala Hoping To Put Up Good Display For Uganda Cranes

Joel Mutakubwa to start in the posts ahead of Charles Lukwago while John Revita paves way for Paul Mbowa who will partner Halid Lwaliwa in the heart of defence.

KCCA duo Muzamir Mutyaba and Nicholas Kasozi, Vipers youngster and Karim Watambala other the other first starters.
