Vipers forward Fahad Bayo has been linked to a move to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca.
This comes in the wake of the striker’s impressive first round display in the StarTimes UPL.
Bayo, who joined Vipers at the start of the season, has scored nine league goals so far and was also on target on his national team debut recently in AFCON qualifiers.
When contacted to comment about the reports about his move to Wydad, Bayo refuted claims:
“It’s a lie,” he told the-SportsNation.com. “Those are just rumours.”
Reports have circulated on social media about Bayo’s next destination, with one claiming that he was recommended to Wydad by Sebastien Desabre.
The Lugazi-born attacker played for Proline FC back in the days before a lucrative deal to Zambia to play for Buildcon FC.
If the move comes to pass, he will join a couple of Uganda players to play for the Arab-clubs, including Wydad defender Murushid Juuko.
