Mucureezi started his career with Mutundwe Lions and he is remembered for having scored four goals as a substitute for Uganda Cranes in a 5-0 win against South Sudan in CHAN qualifiers in 2017 at Lugogo.

He is another puzzle to Vipers attacking force that has Fahad Bayo, Dan Sserunkuma, Allan Kayiwa, Innocent Wafula, Brian Kalumba among others.

Mucureezi has been on Vipers radar for long and was rumoured to be joining the Kitende based club when he left KCCA.

Vipers coach Edward Golola said that Mucureezi is one of the best wingers or forwards in the Uganda Premier League.

Golola, as quoted by the club website, added:

“He has the right work ethic, talent and mentality to play for Vipers SC and he fits exactly the type of player we were looking for to bring into the squad to help us improve and push on further. I am delighted he has signed with us.”

He is expected to feature in Vipers’ second round opener against Kyetume FC next week on Friday at Kitende as the club seek to extend their lead atop.
