Ghana’s Football Association (GFA) has sacked the entire coaching staff of all their men’s and women’s national teams, it’s official.
The GFA confirmed the development via their official website:
“The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has dissolved the technical teams of all national teams with immediate effect.
“The decision affects both male and female national teams.
“The GFA extends its appreciation to all coaches and members of the respective national teams for their contributions to our teams and Ghana football.”
Senior national team, Kwesi Appiah has been the centre of attention after his second spell with the Black Stars has failed to bring successful results as earlier envisioned.
Kwesi, an ex-international, was appointed in May 2017 but the side registered a low in the 2019 AFCON where they were eliminated in the second round, and a failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, proved the sacking inevitable.
