Naomi Kayondo has been added to the coaching staff of the U19 Women National team that is preparing to face Tanzania in bilateral series.
Kayondo is a right handed Batswoman, a key figure to the Lady Cricket Cranes and her addition will be a great inspiration to the girls.
She is a level 2 trained ECB coach who joins coach Ivan Kakande and Yusuf Nanga on the technical bench.
Hosts Uganda will play Tanzania in January 13-17 at Entebbe and Kyambogo cricket ovals as the two countries prepare for the forthcoming U19 Women World Cup.
Uganda will field two teams, something Women’s development officer Franklyn Najjumba said that will allow more girls to gain exposure.
