Bright Stars Vs BUL FC: Hosts Target Positive Second Round

Bright Stars will be aiming for a positive start to the second round when they play host to BUL FC at Kavumba Recreation Center.

The hosts had an abysmal performance in the first phase, and are languishing in the drop zone; The team has 10 points, seated second from the bottom.

They ended the first round on a low note; losing their last three games against Police, Proline and SC Villa. The team’s last win was a 1-0 home victory off Onduparaka on November 2.

Both teams played out a one all draw in the reverse fixture at Fufa Technical center with James Otim (BUL) and Joseph Janjali on target.

Bright stars are currently second bottom on the Startimes Uganda Premier League league table with 10 points from 15 games of the first round played.

BUL are unbeaten in their last six league games since their 2-1 loss away to Vipers at Kitende. In the period, they have won twice (Kyetume and Mbarara) and picked four draws.

BUL FC who have been a force to reckon in the season so far, occupy third place on the log with 27 points gathered in the first 15 games of the season.
