Uganda Cranes striker Joel Madondo has agreed personal terms with Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca, The-SportsNation sources have learnt.
The Busoga United striker is set to to be unveiled at Wydad on a four-year contract.
It is reported that Busoga United will be paid USD100,000 in transfer fees.
Madondo scored three goals in the first round including a stunning volley against rivals BUL FC in the Busoga derby at Njeru.
He was also on target as Uganda Cranes beat Eritrea 3-0 to lift the 2019 CECAFA senior challenge cup.
Madondo also had trials last year in Turkey to join Umraniyespor before the deal fell through.
Wydad, who has won 20 league titles in the Botola league, is also interested in Vipers striker Fahad Bayo and KCCA midfielder Allan Okello.
